Dharma — A custom Next.js build for a developer-first product

A bespoke Next.js marketing site with a documentation-first information architecture and an MDX-driven content pipeline.

The challenge

Dharma's audience is engineers who read docs before they read marketing copy. The old site treated docs as a second-class citizen behind three layers of navigation.

The approach

We collapsed marketing and docs into a shared shell, built the whole content layer in MDX, and designed for keyboard-first navigation. Search, command palette, and view transitions came along for free.

They treated our docs like a product surface, not a footer link. That's why this works.
